Merve Tuccar Burak, OD

Dr. Burak holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science and conducted research at the Schepens Eye Research Institute of Harvard Medical School before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry (NECO). Her clinical training included rotations at Boston Medical Center, the Jamaica Plain VA, and Eye Center of South Florida, followed by experience in corporate optometry.

Dr. Burak is passionate about comprehensive primary eye care and values building meaningful connections with her patients. She is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where patients feel supported, comfortable, and confident in their eye health. She also contributes to the education of future optometrists as an adjunct clinical lab instructor at NECO. Outside of her work, she enjoys staying active with her husband and her dog.
